Title: King County no shooting areas
Post by: optic2 on January 03, 2018, 04:53:32 PM
I'm trying to figure out if muzzleloaders are legal to fire in King county no shooting areas. If you look here (https://aqua.kingcounty.gov/council/clerk/code/15_Title_12.htm#_Toc444848605) at the King County code it doesn't give any definition of what a firearm is. Thus it seems to be in a legal grey area.

Muzzleloaders are considered firearms by Washington state law.

I think there is a difference between no shooting and hunting, but if it is a firearm restricted zone, then no means no. Lots of no shooting areas in kit sap county, that do not pertain to hunting. But check with the LEO
