Title: Eastern Washington Trapping
Post by: Bigjon on February 15, 2018, 08:49:49 PM
I thought about doing some trapping in Eastern Washington, can anyone familiar with that area give me any pointers or areas where there is an abundance of beavers and cats around where there is public land.  Im not exactly sure where to go and what would be the best trapping area this time of year.  Also for cats on the east side with the live traps do they hang out in the grass or the desert like area.  Any help would be great, thanks.

You need a license if you don’t have one. Sounds like the training class will explain everything you are wondering

Hey Big Jon   :hello:
Well there is a lot of snow up in Central Washington area.
I use to have land up in Bonaparte lake area and there is a lot of cats up there including lions, but there is a lot of snow up there right now.
I've always heard the better looking bobcats are down in the Blue Mountain area.  Dayton area comes to mind.
If you want beaver, holy cows head for the Pot Holes, Moses Lake area.  Beaver sign everywhere!
JC   :hello:
