I am trimming our apple trees and pear tree. Can any one use any of the wood for your smoker?
I will be cutting the limbs about 3 feet long and will tie them in bundles.
Located in Arlington.

Nice offer, apple has always been one of my favorites for smoking anything.
-
just make sure you let the wood season out a good 2-3 month in the sun (less if you split it) or the greenness will make bitter tasting smoke its gross.
-
When i get them all done i will keep the bundles of the bigger wood for any one that can use it.

Moisture content of 15 percent I shoot for. Properly seasoned is cricritical.

Also use the meter to keep the firewood supplier in check.

Nice offer!
I'm not too far away in Alger, I'll be headed to Oak Harbor sometime mid next week, I'll message you the day before to see if you still have the wood.
BTW, thanks for reminding me it's getting to be time to trim the trees...
Sorry, I confused Arlington and Anacortes. I won't be heading your way.

I got one tree trimmed, two more apple trees and then the pear tree. We might be doing some work in Sedo. If we do i can drop some off to you.
