So I've been working on this rifle for two years . I bought the savage flatback 30.06 from a pawn shop 180 bucks out the door. Than picked up a Douglas heavy 6.5x284 barrel from 24 hrs campfire 200 bucks. Macmillan m40 stock 225 from long range hunting. And topped it off with a vortex razor gen 2 from a guy on armslist 1300 bucks. Went to sportsmans range here in Everett for Father's Day. Did a little load work up with 4831sc and Berger 140 gr vld at the lans. Started at 50.5 grains and worked up to 52.5 gr in half grain increments using federal 210m primers. Everything shot great though I am going to have to get a cheek riser as the big scope sits a little high and believe led to some vertical at the higher loads. Really stoked. Probably play with seating depth next. Also got to shoot my second build which only took me 6 most to put together but seeing as it's a manbun magnum I'll save it for another thread. Any feedback on my group's would be appreciated as i am fairly new to this. Thanks

Have you bedded the rifle?

No it has not been bedded yet. Reloading another 50 rnds with eldx and getting a cheek riser as the razor gen 2 is sitting pretty high. The stock was used but has never been bedded.
