Made the decision to buy this gun and top it with a Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50
How everyone likes the gun in this caliber?
Better question is what grain bullet is everyone using for best performance in groups, accuracy, and yardage?
Mine will be used for deer/elk.
Looking for recommendations for store bought as of now before I start to reload.

What’s the barre twist?

The 300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag and 28 Nosler became 1-8”.

8"

I shoot 200 gr Partitions out of mine. They shoot very well at 2980 fps ( handloads though ) It did shoot 180 gr Federal Trophy Tips pretty well
-
Can’t go wrong with Accubonds. My .300 loves em.

Thanks for input :)
I am looking for something used for both deer and elk
Not to heavy/not to light?
-
I’d start with 190’s and work from there.

I have the Hells Canyon Speed in 300 and my most accurate load so far is 75 gr of H4831 & 180 Accubonds.
-
I use 180g nosler partitions and I’m good to 800 yds +
Hand loads, would have to dig out my notes for powder and load data
But I’m right in the middle of moving and all that stuff is packed up and buried.

I’m shooting factory loaded 215 grain Berger hybrids. I shoot factory ammo and had a hard time finding one that my xbolt would shoot moa. The Berger 215’s are giving me consistent 1/2 moa groups.

I just bought it
I'm excited to top it
Now just picking a quality scope
