I have a modern tag, but a late season muzzleloader opportunity has just come up. Is it still possible to buy a multi-season deer tag?
-
As long as you had applied for a multi season tag and they have some left. If you didn't apply for a multi season tag you can not but buy one.

Awesome thanks. I didn't word that question very well, but you gave me what I needed anyway. Sounds like there isn't a cut-off date where you aren't allowed to buy one anymore. It's just a question of availability.

They still had them Thursday, October 3rd I picked mine up. They first call WDFW to cancel your regular tag, then, if you applied for one and did not draw it, it will pop up as a tag you can buy. Turn in your regular tag to the dealer and he will print and give you the new multi season tag. Again, if there are any left. A dealer may say "there aren't any available" when they look up your account, which they did with mine. I said you have to first call WDFW to have them cancel the tag I already have, once they did that the multi season then appeared as a tag I could buy.

Bought one yesterday

How did you buy it? I put in for it but did not draw. Would like to buy one if I still can.

Just go to anylicense dealer.

This release makes it sound like you had to have applied but not drawn to be eligible to purchase the tags that weren’t purchased during the period offered to those who drew.

ee my post a couple posts above. Just go to a dealer, but during working hours of WDFW, if you currently have a regular tag they must first cancel that tag (then surrender to the dealer) and then the multi season tag will appear on your account page as a tag you can then buy. Again, you must have put in for the multi tag draw to be eligible to purchase a left over tag.

I appreciate everyone that weighed in on this. I went to the Sportsman's Warehouse in Vancover, and they knew exactly what to do to make it happen.
