Looking for a left handed deer rifle for my daughter. Shes a toothpick 11 year old so need something on the smaller side of things but looking for quality rifle with or without a scope..

Just a suggestion, at 11, you might just get her used to shooting from the other side. It’s worked for several kids I’ve helped, they adjust pretty quickly at that age. :twocents:
That being said, I’ve got a couple youth rifles if you would like to borrow them and see how she does.

My daughter is left handed and I put her on a righty rifle just due to the limitation on choices for youth left handed rifles. You can pick up a Ruger American or Savage Axis for really bargain prices, even left when they are on sale.

I bought the axis for my kids. Really tiny framed daughter and it works great.

I’d be more concerned with eye dominance.

Picked up a youth model Ruger American in 7mm-08 for my wife earlier this year and she loves it. Shoots really well and the recoil is minimal. I struggled my whole life shooting right handed guns. I am extremely left eye dominant and never could adjust to shooting right. Finally splurged and bought my own left handed bolt gun and now I will never shoot anything else. So much more comfortable to shoot and working the action is much smoother so follow up shots are quicker and more accurate.

If she is left eye dominant than I would stick with left hand. I would pick up a Ruger American youth model 243.

She is definitely left eye dominant... I will keep looking thanks guys

Here's a thought:
AR-15 chambered in 350 Legend?
You could get one for under $400 from Bear Creek Arsenal.
I'm lefty, but my ARs aren't. It doesn't bother me.
Also, recoil would be very manageable.

Savage axis youth left hand 7mm-08. Special ordered one for my kid. Not that expensive.
