Post by: PierceIt on November 11, 2019, 05:29:51 PM

I'm a new private land owner in 4601 and have an archery elk tag. Am I reading the regulations correctly that during late archery season that with my archery elk tag that during late archery season that i can bag a 3 pt Bull or an anterless elk? an anterless elk meaning a cow? because there are 4 huge ones in my backyard right now and I'm dying for Nov 27th to get here!

I'm in a similar situation. I have one rag horn bull and four cows in the back pasture. Then my son pointed out that if we were to hunt them and take on down, there would go 20% of our herd.
I'll let them be and butcher a steer this winter.

Antlerless means antlerless. Gender is not a factor. Good luck.
