So you're saying there's a chance. I read ya.

Never applied in Arizona. Do you have to buy your non resident licence before you can apply? Or just buy the $15 application fee?

I have more faith in my long shot out of state apps than I do in my WA apps! :chuckle:

In for both as well
-
Just deer, too late to the party to play the sheep game.
-
Arizona has been dood to me and always apply. 2 elk tags and 370+ bulls, 1 deer tag 200” buck, 1 antelope 87”. 40 years of applying here and total waste my $$.
-
In for both for youngest son and I!
-
Both sheep and deer for me.
Arizona has been good to me as well.
An elk and two deer tags.
All great hunts with allot of animals and quality.
Not over crowded with hunters.
-
In for some long shots on both .
-
I applied but I live here (for about three more weeks then moving to TriCities). I'll donate the deer tag to Outdoor Experience 4 All. If I get drawn for sheep they may get my elk tag too. Otherwise I'll be back in September for early archery bull.
Are you guys all dedicated to applying for the Kaibab deer or is anyone applying elsewhere in the state?
-
I have a Kaibab tag for my first choice, but then a late coues for my second. My 11 year old kid is in for coues on both choices.

Which youth hunt? Right now I live in 36A but know 36B and C pretty well too.

We hunt a little north of you. Have hunted the same general area for 20 years or so.
-
Late Coues for me as well.
-
Good luck all!! The AZFG backdoor is open, draw is underway.
Not sure which hunt we drew yet, but our group's card was hit. :IBCOOL:
-
Anybody on here get lucky? Just another point for me apparently.
-
our group had cc hit, but we do not know what hunt we drew yet, we put in for deer only, no sheep
-
Son got a Coues Tag.
-
Still pending!
-
Best of luck to those of you that drew. I look forward to hearing how the hunts go.
-
Officially out, nothing for me.
-
We drew early rifle 34A.
-
No credit card hit so I am sure that is a no, but how do you look up for a kid, since they don’t allow an online account until age 13?

Call the main number. Option 7 is to get draw results.

Congratulations to all that drew.
No luck here.

Lots of great bucks in there. The west side of the Greaterville rd just before you get into the mountains is pretty nice. Less crowded than the east side of the unit. Most people hunt over by Gardener canyon and Kentucky camp.
The west side is more mesquite than oaks and a little lower elevation. Beautiful unit. You may even get a chance at a coati. I've seen a bunch in there.
