My dad has decided he is ready to get out of WA and move to Alaska to be closer to me and his granddaughters!
We listed his place outside of Northport in Northeastern WA. It is up next to the Canadian boarder and has some of the absolute best hunting and fishing in the state. There are deer every single night in his yard along with turkeys. He also sees quite a few black bear and elk in the area. The home is literally eye shot from Canada and sits on a fertile 2.5 acres over looking the Columbia River but directly off a paved road. It is 11 miles out of Northport which has a grocery store, gas station, school (on the bus route) and a couple little restaurants. Colville is 45 minutes away which is the closest bigger town. Just across the boarder to the North you have Trail B.C. The home has great internet and cell service. It would be an absolute great spot to raise your family away from the kayos of the bigger city and or an amazing place to retire. If I had plans to move back to WA I'd just keep if for a weekend getaway.
Home Specs:
- 3 bedroom 2 bath
- 1400 square feet
- Huge detached garage with leanto off to one side and two rooms inside (one is currently a reloading room :chuckle: )
- 2.5 acres
- really nice wood shed
- built in 1999
Home is listed at $165,000
YOU WILL NOT FIND A NICER HOME FOR THIS PRICE!

My wife & I just traveled to the Colville area & made a trip up to North Port a couple weeks ago. We are looking to retire in the area. Do you have a realtor?

Very nice.

Sabrina is a good Realtor to work with. I just sold a 190 ac. listing of hers up by the Canadian border.

We do, Sabrina Tipich (509)850-1966 is her cell, she’s great with answering her phone or returning texts. She’s listed under the link I attached. It is an absolute amazing location. If my work wasn’t up north in the Arctic and my life being established in AK I’d buy it from my dad. The people in the area are friendly and when I visit I always have way more activities to do than I can get too. An outdoors paradise. Plus I love the proximity to Colville and Kettle Falls. Properties like this in Colville are selling for over 100k more and personally I love being out of town a little further. You can sit on the porch or work in the yard all day and only see 5 vehicles drive past on the county maintained road. And like I said above where can you find a house, shop and land for this price. Plus there is a plethora of state land and national forest in the area. It’s an all around incredible deal.

Someone here lives in a Seattle and is tired of the daily grind and needs out :chuckle:
-
Yes, me! Wife won't move that far from the ocean though. Even though her best friend lives in Spokane. Go figure.
But yeah, if it were just me.....
And a sidenote: I retire from my job in Seattle come February.
Another sidenote: I HATE Seattle!!!!

She can get her beach fix complete with driftwood at the lake anytime she wants. Serious.

You guys carrying the contract or cash out? We are headed to kettle falls for muzzy deer in a week. May take a swing buy if you dont mind.

No it’s listed with a realtor and still has a note so needs cashed out however the buyer obviously chooses. If interested in looking at it let Sabrina know (realtor). Her numbers listed above. It seriously is one of the absolute best deals in the entire state right now. I’ve yet to see another listing of a home that’s not built in the 70s or older that has an incredible shop and land for anywhere near this price.
