My bow tool kit is abysmal, what do you all pack in your field kits/tool box to keep you going?
Do those portable bow presses work good on a parallel limb bow like a bowtech realmx?
I'm think about pulling my fletchings, and going all fletched wraps.

I don't carry much, if I need a press I'm headed to town. I carry all of the hex wrenches and a few things in my pack, all my arrow stuff is in the truck.

We carry a three tray Plano fishing box with all the bow stuff. Portable presses are awesome must haves. Have extra strings all set up with d-loops, peep and silencers. If string fails, press and change out at camp. Quick Fletches for me are the only way to go. Put a new one on anytime with pan of boliing water. Extra everything else as well. Broad heads, nock points you name it its in there. Now if a bow limb breaks well we are done! Probably should pack an extra bow then?

Is that a switchback?

Do you all mark your arrow spines for the quickfletch? To line up the c ock?

Elaborate on your question. :dunno:

probably not necessary if your hunting with a Whisker brisket but lots of folks align the knock with the co ck vein

Find the spine of the arrow, mark it, line all the c ocks on each arrow down the spines
Having the seams up on each arrow, which is stiffer, indicated by the cock, helps keep them more consistent in the direction they flex

People used to float them, but they got a spline tool, pushes in the middle of the arrow as you roll it, then the dial guage or you can feel a stiff spot as you roll it while bent, thats the spine you wannaine the cocks up with

Prolly a good thing to do if you want better, more consistent performance with your broadheads.

Make sure and keep an extra peep site stretch tube in your pack.

Yep I understand what your saying. I have never done that. If I was shooting competition heck ya. For my hunting bow sweet and simple it goes. 2"-3" groups and I'm Happy.

Thanks guys, going to get a tacklebox going with spare strings, d loops wraps and things needed to salvage a hunt
And pack a spare bow
I lost a hunt one time cause I got brush in a cam wheel and lost a string off, and almost gotva broadhead in my strings another, while practicing "around the world" in camp w my bro I ruined one if his arrows, and lost fletching on onna mine
50 yards "around the world" robinhood
I teased him said that was the best penetration his arrow ever got lol 😆
(He shot a bull, didn't get a full pass through)
