I lost the front screw from my front factory williams site on my Knight UltraLite MZ up in the high country this week. Dumb Deadfall tripped me. Where can I find a new screw in a hurry? What size do I need to be looking for? I still have the back screw from the front site and they are the same but I don't have a tool to measure it with. I need to remount the site and check zero before next weekend now. Ugh so annoying that I tripped.
Thanks,
Curt

I have extras where are you located

I am having 0 luck locating m3 x 4 screw for front sight on Traditions/Williams sight, and its like pulling teeth to get help from anyone associated with the rifle.
New Strikerfire, tapered barrel.

Where are you located?
The ones I have are from my daughters knight muzzys not sure if they are the same.
I'll have to look to see if I can find them

I am in Yakima County. It would be great to be able to pick one up and go test my zero in the Wenatchee national forest this weekend so I know I am good for opening day.

Well crap I'm on the wetside

Darn,
It looks like I need one of the screws in this kit:

Probably the 6-48x. 160 size. Hopefully I can find one locally someplace. Can anyone verify that this is indeed the correct size?
Thanks,
Curt

The Ranch and Home in Ellensburg has a "gun screw selection" in their nut and bolt section. Give them a call, 509-925-6181
-
If you call them, they can verify against your serial number.
I have plenty of 6 - 48 and others, but nothing short enough for the front sight, you would have to try and hold it and cut it with dremmel or screw cutter.
Also, Im in n.e. kind of between Daisy and rice, up in the hills a ways.

They are 6x48 screws

Tacoma Screw if there is one nearby.
-
Try Ace Hardware most of the stores have gun screws in their screw section.
-
Tacoma Screw was a bust but Ace Hardware has 6-48x 5/32 screws. 5/32 looks like 0.15625 only a couple thousands shorter than .160 so I should be in luck right?

Certainly could work - you could always countersink the hole in the sight a little bit if you need more bite.
