Title: morning shoot

Quick limits today. Tremendous numbers of birds today. Surprised to see nobody out.

Thats awesome.  I planned to head out this morning, but tore my calf myscle while getting my gear on to head to the blind.  Spent the day in a busy ER instead.  Hopefully this will be healed by next weekend

Lots of birds around yesterday and very few shots heard where I was.  Unfortunately I seemed to be in the waterfowl equivalent of a "rain shadow", they were literally flying on all four sides of me but nothing within 500 yards of my spot.

Many more cacklers than I have ever seen.

Nice looking mut.. I love a dog who will hold still for a picture!  Must have some brains. :chuckle:

Nice limit and dog. Wife won't have a dog. I'm trying to measure my options... 8)

Not true! This morning he would not look at the camera. Birds were still dropping in to the blocks 30 feet behind me, and he was rock solid sitting point
