the rules from the first post...

The two rules I highlighted come into play, it appears the two winners are:
McQuakin's ...... Jason/ 14/ 5026
coyotecrazy's ...... Ruth/ 11 / 5000
There was one member who was very close to the winning number but their number was higher, and there were two members who chose 5000, but according to the rules the first member to post the same number is the winner.
In the event one of the winners can't go, then the next person in line for the hunt is:
h2ofowlr's ...... Parker / 15 / 5000
Thanks to everyone who donated to the winners and thanks to everyone who participated. I will be in touch with the winners to get the hunts organized.

Both youth hunters made it here for the hunt last night and we are all out hunting this morning. Birds were gobbling good and freshly off the roost and it’s just a waiting game now.
-
Each hunter already has their bird down, photos are being taken now! :IBCOOL:
-
Awesome. Good job kids
-
Fantastic! awaiting pics!
-
Perfect. Another successful youth turkey season. Can’t wait to see pics.
-
Both kids got mature Tom’s and are headed home for Easter. Jason and Ruth are going to write their own stories about their hunt for everyone to read. Here’s one photo of both of them at the cleaning area.
-
Awesome, can’t say I’m surprised at the outcome.

I was very excited when my dad came home and told me I had won a turkey hunt. We went and got camo, a hunting license, boots, and ear protection with the money donated from members of this forum.
We got to Bearpaw Outfitters on Friday in the evening. When we went to the door we were met by Daniel and Dale who gave us a turkey choke, some quality turkey rounds and showed us to our cabin. After we unpacked into our room we went shooting to pattern our guns. After that we came back and had spaghetti for dinner, then went to bed because we had to be up early.
The next morning we woke up at 4am and got dressed in our camo. We went to the dining room and had biscuits and gravy for breakfast. After eating Daniel took us to a field full of cows. He set up a blind for us and dropped us off after giving us instructions.
About an hour later around a hundred turkeys started to make their way into the field. The other group with us shot one bird and shortly after a bird stopped in front of us and I shot one too! Daniel drove down to us and after lots of pictures took us back to the lodge.
Once we got back Daniel cleaned our bird for us and packed up the meat. We thanked everyone, packed up our stuff and said goodbye.
I am very grateful that Bearpaw Outfitters gave me this great experience!
--Jason
My son had a great time, I have been trying to put him on a turkey for a while and Bearpaw Outfitters did it!
