Anyone have one?  Thoughts? Worth the panic price?

MEH

I have a couple buddies that own them. I have shot them a good bit. Not impressed and they have feed issues.

If you are going to get a awesome carbine get a cx4 storm hands down the most fun gun I own and I own several of them. They are spendy and even more so right now. They stopped making them. Why I have no idea. Everyone who shoots mine tries to buy them from me and falls in love with them.

I also picked up the take down ruger carbine its less money " normally " and I have been liking it so far. Couple up grades and its rolling nice.

I have one, I'm guessing it has 800-900 rounds through it without any issues. They were pretty cheap years ago, not sure these days though. With the small size it's kinda nice throwing it be hind the seat or in a backpack. My FIL has one on 40 cal and as far as I know he's had zero issues as well.

Not sure if it's possible but having a red dot of some sorts would be a nice upgrade..

What up grades?  Mine's pretty much a safe queen.  I'm glad to have it though, should I ever need it.

I also have the PCC takedown, never an issue with it regardless of what mags i used......I have never liked the Sub 2K, I don't know why, i've never fired one?? But theres people that love them......I say if its what you want then go for it ( but probably not worth panic buying?) Have you considered a AR9 build?

Not sure how the CX4 would be a comparison, it doesn’t fold in half.

I’ve owned the Sub 2k. Was fun, never had an issue to feed. And used to shoot cheap ammo. Was just a fold up truck or ditch gun. Wasn’t really useful for anything. Maybe if there is an uprising.

I think I paid around $300. $600 seems steep for a plastic and stamped steel plinker.

I bought a hi viz sight and a better charging handle from these guys.

I didnt say the cx4 was a comparison to the sub.
Just suggesting other options if the op is looking for carbine. The other 2 I mentioned are without a doubt a better carbine :twocents:

I have a Sub2K 9mm Glock and it is a hoot if you want to burn ammo.
33rd happy sticks are good fun.
It's very accurate if you want to wrench your neck down to get on the sights.
Needs a cheekpiece and a reddot on a riser to improve ergonomics.
You need an optic with unlimited eye relief...There is no 1913 within about 12" of your eyes when deployed.
Also could benefit from a buffer and larger charging handle.
Great little piece of engineering.
