Title: How many lures?
Post by: Mt.Beaver on September 19, 2021, 11:40:34 AM
How many lures does one guy need?  I took inventory today and found I had 23 different bottles of lure.  I am sure a lot of you have many  more but I need to concentrate on the lures that do the the job and I have confidence in.  I hope to use up the others this year and reduce my inventory to 10 or 12 so I am not packing around a bunch of extras.  This is my second item in getting more organized on the trapline. Next is ordering  more backup parts for trap repair so I can get traps back in action faster. Also I want to have some extra raccoon traps on hand. On a few occasions this summer I have had all my traps out and been spread thin.  Too many other things going on this summer but my trapping is kind of a relief from the rest.
