True story  :chuckle:

Been a while since I dropped by.  Good to see your name pop up.  Hope all is well on your end.

I have had deer like that in trail camera pictures before.  Keep watching him, eventually he will break off the drooping horn.

Body condition looks rough, bigger problems than a broken right, he may need headshot

Often times that broken antler will prevent them from grazing, tough to get low enough with the antler in the way. Living off browse when the rest of the bulls are stuffing themselves with grass. be like feeding a cow branches instead of alfalfa, they might be able to live off it for a while but not the same nutrition  :twocents: :dunno:

I'd rather have this elk with tons of character than a perfectly symmetrical one.

Maybe he broke it rubbing velvet off or got locked up with another bull

I found a fresh 6 point antler from a bull this year that was broken off with part of the pedicle still attached.  Bull went crazy making rubs that he broke it off really good.  I would assume with the amount of bone still attached to the antler that next years growth is going to look really weird.
