Try Little Canyon Shooting out of Peck, ID. They have flying pens in endicott and usually have chukar available. They mostly deal pheasants though.

Thanks emptyhanded I really appreciate it! But I’ll have to call them… I looked at their website it says minimum order is 100 birds… I was thinking 10-20 birds depending on $$$ as I don’t have any place to hold that many birds!

If you can find upland birds, pigeons are always a good alternative to get young dogs Birdy and usually easier to find on Craigslist.

Thx for all the info… I was just hoping to find some bobwhites (quail) they are smaller and easier for the pup to handle at point! I just thinking next summer I’d move to  Pigeons, chukars or pheasants as they are bigger! Plus bobs will recall for use again!
