The 2021 Hunting-Washington Christmas Gift Exchange. I want to start early so I can get the list out at convenient time, that will give participants time to send and receive. We need to keep this moving to make sure everyone gets taken care of before Christmas.
Rules:
1. All participants must be recent posters to the Forum with a minimum of 20 posts prior to this post.
2. To sign up, simply reply to this post "(your forum handle) is in." For example: "pianoman9701 is in".
3. Sign up final day is December 6th at midnight
4. I will use a random generator to pick who gets whom for the swap on Dec 10th7th and post.
5. Each person will be responsible for the next person on the list. The last person on the list will provide for the first person on the list.
6. Presents must be sent no later than the December 18th.
7. The value of the gift should be at least $25 and need not be hunting-related. Home-made gifts are fine.
8. Once you've made contact with your gift recipient, post again. Once you've shipped, post again. Once you've received your gift, post again.

I just want to say, thank you to everyone that is here. This is a real community. Someone needs some sort of help anywhere in the state and there are immediate responses. Not too many online communities like that where we will help anyone when we can. The Christmas exchange is just another example of how strong the sense of community is here. For once USPS shined. Dropped off the package yesterday morning for asmith in Wenatchee and according to the tracking notification it arrived in Davenport and is ready for pickup this morning!

I will just say my son feels very blessed and understands that hunting is much more than the harvest...it is a community...and HW is a very, very special one in so many ways. Yes and yes BD1. This is a very special hunting forum/community. Received my goodie today from avidoutdoorsman. He went above and beyond the call of duty, what a GREAT gift he sent. I’ve PM’d my heartfelt thanks to him, he’s welcome in my elk hunting camp any time.
How about a huge HELL YA, great job on organizing this gift exchange for past few years to WADU1. It takes a lot of planning, work, time, and attention to make an event like this look effortless. Thanks mister :tup:

Amazing how we had 45+ members involved in the gift exchange and everyone came through. My work buddy did a gift exchange on another site (not hunting related) and only a few people actually sent out gifts, like 3/15 or so. This site is a true community. Thank you Wadu1 for all your efforts in organizing this.
