I'm at home taking care of honeydos before my late season hunt starts and wishing I was out prowling a clearcut edge. The winds blowing, rain is coming in sideways and the leaves are pouring out of my big maple. All the makings for a day of blacktail killing. Hope some of you guys are making hay today. I'm jealous.

I think a lot of bucks hit the dirt (mud) today. Really good conditions.

They did!!!! At least mine did.

I didn't get out due to storm related issues. It sure was good blacktail hunting weather though.

I had my opportunity on Wednesdays storm an missed at 300. Taking the kid out the next 2 days with this weather I hope we get it done. Good luck guys!!
