Title: Elk bait in Wyoming?
Post by: WapitiTalk1 on May 27, 2022, 10:44:48 PM
Received my WY elk tag in the mail today (sweet, it’ll be my first year killing an elk in the Cowboy State).  Trying to figure what a guy should use for bait and what is allowed for special elk fishing?  It’s kind of ambiguous, what is legal….live bait, barbless only, min-max size restrictions, native/hatchery rules?  Just trying to get a grasp on this states rules?   ;)

Congrats on the tag, Wyoming is special.  Might want to spool on some braided line:)  LE or general?

Organic, free ranging, troll-caught elk. What could be better.

I heard they closed fishing due to monkey pox.  Sorry.
