It's been a few years since I did one of these threads and I think it's time to do it again. This year will be different than the past. We will be doing very little water trapping this year. The years of targeting beaver and mink I think are behind us now. We have cat scratch fever and will be going after bobcat again this year. Learned a lot last year and caught a few. We have high hopes for this year. Going to start setting traps next weekend. Hopefully we will be posting a lot of pics of full traps this season.

Nice! Do just enough water trapping to support your cat trapping.

Thought I would give an update. We are still at it. If it wasn't for some bad luck, we would have a few more cats. Started moving the line the other day. Should be done moving the rest by Thursday. Hopefully we will have another cat pic or to share soon.

I was digging through an old box of stuff and found a brand new small (110?) Conibear trap. Are those still usable in Wa? Not doing any fur stuff for many years. Just curious.
