Vortec NW edition just came out and it is legal in WA. It is an awesome gun.

Just curious to know if you own one of these or not. I'm on the T/C and Knight band wagon my self. We've had bad experiences with the nw edition.  :bdid:
Personally I don't know anything about the vortec. I may have to look it up and check it out.

Cabela's has them.  I've looked at it, but don't recall why I was turned off by it.  Does it shoot 150 grns of powder? or is it limited to 100 grains?  That may have been it.  I shoot 120 grains so I would like a gun to handle the load I'm putting through it.

Correction...They do hold 150 grains of powder!  I was thinking of the new T/C Explorer which only holds 100 grs.

yes I do have one. It will shoot 150gr. I love it. I have shot just about all of the major muzzleloaders  that are legal in WA and this is BY FAR my favorite.

Good to know, one is on the way..
