Messing around with making a floating muskrat colony trap that can be very discrete in public areas.

Its out soaking right now.  I will update when I can get back out there.  Im going to make another one and see if I can figure out the balance of the flotation so it sit better in the water.

I like your design 
 I'm not positive, but I thought I heard or read that the rats are caught in the trap dont cause a bunch of weight. They are buoyant.
 Can't wait for the update.

That would be great.  I have it tied to a tree in case its sinks but hopefully that wont happen.  Unless its soo full that it does then that wont be bad.

apples and carrots.  That seems to be the most common suggestion.
