Need Predator Pictures for Educational Campaign
« on: November 25, 2022, 11:46:23 AM »
We are looking for pictures of predators that have fawns calves, or pets in their mouths or other depredation photos.  We are seeking permission to use these photos as part of a educational campaign about the need to manage predators. As we all know we need to reach out to the general public and educate them since sportsmen generally agree that we need to keep/increase management.

You can post the pictures here or send us a PM and We will supply a e-mail and release form.

Thank you for your help and have a safe and successful rest of your hunting season!

How about predator pics in and around houses, cabins, humans, etc.

We have something specific in mind, but perhaps those kinds of pictures would come in handy. If not for this specific project perhaps other projects or general awareness on future issues. If your willing to let us use your photo and sign a waver, we wont turn you down.

I'll post a few, if you want to use them...feel free.  I can also change camera angles to show proximity to cabins, auto's, where my kids play, etc.  Right now the most the cameras around the cabins point away from them to see who may be coming and going.

Pic #1:  Quad was parked and mountain lion walked by w/in 45 minutes of it being parked.  Two hunters w/in a couple hundred yards and these cats have no fear of human.

Pic #2:  You can see the cabin in the background.  Water trough and food plot.....we often times watch bears traverse the openings all hours of the day with no fear.  I have other pics, if I can find them, of bears that watch me work on the tractor.  Again....no fear of human.

I saw 1 or 2 bears between January and May. Then the deer had fawns on my property in June and the bears came in looking for them. No photos of bears with fawns in their mouths, but they were definitely hunting them.
