I know someone who owns the one you mention AND the other one that seems to be mentioned just as much and marketed just as hard.

He was disappointed in the first one and bought the other.  Just as disappointed.  He has spent a bunch of money on them and yes, they are usable especially in closer, but out in the open, say 300 yards and beyond, save your money.

We looked them both over at my spot where you can see out to 800 yards and I didn't get excited about anything they were capable of over 200.  Exaggerated marketing for certain.  I can use either whenever, but dont bother. Im just glad I decided against buying my own before he bought his and I got first hand exposure to them.  No thanks.

I have both lights, and IR nightvision, and now thermal.   When not using thermal, I prefer IR over visible lights.  I have visible lights; the last time I turned on a red light towards a coyote, it sprinted away from me.

Scope (3-9x50mm with adjustable focus) $65
https://www.amazon.com/Eastvale-Precision-Illuminated-Mil-Dot-Reticle/dp/B07DNKFVK1/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1UJRND55AX6C&keywords=eastvale+scope&qid=1706221520&sprefix=eastvale+scop%2Caps%2C176&sr=8-5

Night vision scope kit $120
https://www.amazon.com/BESTSCOPE-Portable-Display-Riflescope-Hunting/dp/B08DFPFBQR/ref=sr_1_15?crid=IGQ5P5B9SDTV&keywords=night+vision+scope&qid=1706221634&sprefix=night+vision+scope%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-15

Odepro IR illuminator with extra red/green/white diodes $112
https://www.amazon.com/Odepro-KL52Plus-Zoomable-Flashlight-Packaging/dp/B0755FQFP1/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2X93O6I7J2GE5&keywords=odepro+kl52+plus&qid=1706221804&sprefix=odepro+kl52%2Caps%2C83&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

Coyote cannon light/IR illuminator with gun mounts  $275
https://sniperhoglights.com/coyote-cannon-gun-hunters-package-with-1-4-colors/

With the coyote cannon I have both 850IR (non-turbo) and White light LED diodes.

My honest opinion based on my experience with them so far(a few hunting nights with the IR diodes and NV kits):

The Odepro is great out to 100 yds.  It is marginal from 100-200 yds.  Past 200 yds.....forget it.

The coyote cannon is great out to 200 yds.  It is marginal from 200-300 yds. Past 300 yds....forget it. (Paired with a sightmark wraith IR scope, or an ATN 4k Pro, range might be much further)

On a foggy or misty night, any light will "blind you out".  Thermal will see through the fog much better.  On a very clear night, the lights and IR can work pretty well.

Was that red or white light?  Red cuts your distance severely.
Your scope will play a large part on how well you can see under artificial light.  I can get out to 250 with a Sniper Hog Light 66 LRX (white LED) and a Bushnell Elite 6-24x.
