Hunting License question regarding Weapon Type
« on: August 29, 2024, 07:45:54 AM »
Very quick question, and it's dumb,
but can you choose to use a Bow for deer season, and rifle for Elk without a mulitseason tag?

I read that you can't from someone, and I don't think that's true?

Thank you

each one is independent of each other. I have for years hunted Muzzleloader deer and rifle elk. you dont have to pick the same weapon for deer and elk.

In Washington:

Deer tag is for the entire state (east and west sides) and you only need to choose which weapon/associated season you want to hunt.

Elk tag you must choose which side of state you want to hunt (east or west side) and choose your weapon type/associated season.

They are two separate entities.
