Just curious, why do people kill bobcats? They don't eat them, they don't kill deer or elk, and are so rare I've never seen one in the wild in all of my years in the woods. I think it would be really cool to see one some day.
bobcats love fawns, as do bear and yotes, you dont see bobcats because they are mostly nocturnal, however they do come out in the daylight, they are curious critters but play hell on fawns, now that we cant trap or hound hunt there are alot of cats out there, best time is after a nice cold fresh snow, find a fresh set of cat tracks and get cookn on thjem, once they strart wondering around alot slow it down and pay attention, i wish there was a sure fire method to killn them fury little *censored*s cause they along with big cats and yotes are putn a hurtn on the deer in the mashel unit....great bobcat by the way, they make super cool rugs to.

Yeah you don't see bobcats that much because they are mostly nocturnal. I got my first bobcat this year with my bow while I was deer hunting. I'm having a full body mount done to it and I can't wait to get it back. Nice cat, did you weigh it.

That's awesome, no i didn't weigh it but I'd guess around 35 pounds or so it was a good bobcat.

I usually see a couple every year. But havent seen any this year. They kill fawns and grouse. And you can eat them. There are a lot more bobcats out there than a guy thinks.
