1 pound ground venison1/2 cup onions, chopped fine1 garlic clove, chopped fine1 egg1/4 cup ketchup1 tsp salt1 tsp pepper1/2 cup white Minute rice, uncookedMix ingredients together, press into a loaf pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes (until cooked through). Top with gravy if you'd like and enjoy!

I use oatmeal in place of the rice and add 1 tsp Worchestshire As a moistener I make a topping with 1 cup ketchup, 4tbsp brown sugar, 4tbsp vinegar, 2tbsp Worchestshire mix over heat but do not boil, top meatloaf prior 10 minutes before it is done in the oven
That looks awesome! I have all the ingredients except for one and I think it will be a deal breaker. Darn first year of learning to hunt in the Northwest. Maybe next season........
Put it in a shallower/wider dish so there is more surface area to crisp but you run the risk of overcooking. Depends on your taste
My wife does something very similar and it is fantastic. Throwing a couple slices of bacon over the top while cooking doesn't suck either.
