I'll be taking the kids over this Sunday hoping to get them on some perch.  When I was there last week couldn't find any.  Last year it wasn't a problem but it was later in the year.  Anyone now how deep the perch are this time of year?

So here is a question for you guys.  I fish fish lake during the summer and know usually where to find fish, but will those same spots produce in the winter?  Also, if not then what are you looking for in a place to try and fish, i.e. structure?

Fish lake, a couple years ago had some nice browns in it, has anybody caught any through the ice?

Catch your first perch and you've automatically got the best bait for perch there is.  Cannibalistic SOB's...  :chuckle:

maggots, worm, perch eyes under Swedish pimple.  Maggots by far the best for me last year, but perch eyes great.
I've been once this year and caught lots of trout, but struggled with perch.

There have been guys fishing Moses Lake, but I have not gone out due to shifting ice, ice ridges, and thin spots. Just seems like the ice is kinda strange this year on Moses.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
