A guy at my table stopped bidding just under 4K and lost it, probably the only reason I knew, it was loud there.

The goat tag this weekend should be interesting.

The sci banquet this next weekend in Lynwood is going to be awesome! Wall of guns with a full size yeti cooler to boot. Awesome bucket raffle items most worth hundreds each item. Great hunts for auction including 2 governors tags. Check out www.working4wildlife.com . All the money helps our hunting and doing some great things in this state a ton of which is behind the scenes but helps us a lot. Would love to see you all there. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.

No. You just have to buy a ticket to the banquet, go to the banquet and bid.

Single seat if you want.  Just sign up and show up, 20-30 outiftters to chat with, good dinner, great gun raffles and of course the governor tags during the live auction.  Let me know if you need anymore info.

Looks like $99 a seat early bird special per the website and it says the special rate has been extended.  Doesn't give a start time or door opening time.  I would pm NWWA Hunter for more info, he had the web address in his post.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Found the link today where all the state tags are going to be auctioned.  Wonder what the Mule Deer tag will go for?  http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/permits/raffles/auctions.html

Yeah you can bid from a phone.  The whitetail winner this year was a phone bidder.

I have never understood why gov. tags are not raffled within the state they are being sold for. I know that some are raffled within WA like the whitetail and blacktail deer among others. Even if there is a phone-in option I always felt that the the auction should take place where that tag would be used... Is it so the audience it reaches would be larger and generate more revenue? Also I want to buy that blacktail tag one year.

Its all about the money..

Yep, I should have added, they go out of state where the big money is spent.

It would really suprise you how many of those big spenders originate in this state. No joke. We have the big spenders here. There are a ton of guys in this state who have spent hundreds of thousands or millions in their hunting careers. The reason is not so much they spend out of state as it is where the tags are.
