do taxis buy capes?

if i were to be successful with my elk tag this year, would there be interest in the cape?  my house is not elk shoulder mount friendly (low ceilings) so a european is more likely...

They're usually posting "want to buy capes" ads on here. I'd say yes.

Have you seen the mounts that are on a stand .... you may want to look into your different options before you cut up the cape..... you don't need a high wall for any mount....

I buy capes.  Typical elk cape is around $125.  It has to be caped correctly.

i love a pedestal mount, but my 'trophy room' is my dining room, and there's no room at the inn!   :chuckle:  i figure a euro for the time being, and when the kids are gone or i get a bigger house (and win the lottery), i'll do a shoulder on a purchased cape.   :tup:

Depending on what you tip over your Euro may have the brow tines at about waist level!!  :IBCOOL:

You could always get your cape tanned and save it for later.

Don't need Cow or Doe capes.  Buck and Bull only.  No spikes or tiny rag horns.
