With the shirt design.. you said one sided screen print, black/gray, no color? Cost is a factor. I've kinda been playing with a design but no idea if I'm going in the right direction. I'm not real good with this area of design and I'm sure you'll get tons of offers to make something up for you. I can post up my work in progress and you can let me know if this is something you're interested in before I spend too much time dinking around with it?  :dunno:

Quote
The problem with the shirts is trying to keep the cost down.  The less money I spend on stuff the more money goes to the cause.  Color T's cost more money than white T's so I will have to go with white cotton and probably one screen print on the front as they charge by print.

I just stopped in and talked to my shirt guy and he said for a white cotton tee with a single design on the front would be no problem to stay under $10 even with a color design.  He said give him ideas and he can put it together so either post up a good pic or just describe something.  The standard is the M4, boots and helmet but it gets used a lot.  It could be incorporated into a design though.  All ideas are welcome!

Yes it is everywhere and it's a good tribute. I kind of went a different direction just as maybe a different thought. Like I said, this isn't my forte but I wanted to try something.

Oh you like it? I can try to finish it up.. probably next few days. The flag part is pretty time consuming and I'm sorta OCD about making things look right to me. So little tweaks here and there end up taking a while  :chuckle:

. I agree it is a very moving image but one thing I didn't like about the run in Portland was how somber it was.  I want this to be upbeat, positive, and fun!  There are so many images that come to mind but I don't want to clutter the image.

Since it isn't just about Aaron but about all our warriors, fallen and still standing, I don't want to add the elk or hunting into it but just make it more generic.  I was thinking though that we could do a special run of T's for Huntwa members in camo or something like that.  Add the elk head or something custom.
I really like the idea of a special T for huntwa members in Camo as well.

This is a lapel pin that each direct family member is given.  Maybe incorporate the gold star in somewhere?  Maybe the two large stars on either side of the 5k?

Oh ya that'd work great, I'll add that in tomorrow and work on it some more. I have to do it on work breaks/after work because I don't have the software at home.

Thank you so much!  There is no huge hurry on this part as we won't  be ordering the shirts until a few weeks out from the race, so don't kill yourself trying to hammer this out.  I have no idea how difficult this is to put together but if its not too much work maybe do one up in color like you have it and then do one without the star swoosh thing on the right but a bit bigger flag.  Thank you so much for the help!
