Broadhead Practice
« on: August 24, 2014, 06:32:09 PM »
Hello Friends,

Does anyone know of a range that has a broadhead target, near Puyallup?  I found out recently that mech's are illegal, because that is completely logical, and i need to test some fixed out.

Or, if someone has one for purchase, I would pay for a used one...

Thanks,

Nolan

Skookum archery range in Puyallup has sand broad head pits out to fifty yards. I don't shoot into the sand rather I just place my own broad head target in the sand.

Yeah, I don't want to shoot right into sand, and I don't have a broad head target, but I did see that area when I was there today. I love that range.

There is the Tacoma sportsmen club but I don't know if they have a broad head range, you could give them a call.

They have a single broadhead shooting lane that has a sand backstop, Id just take my own scrap target or my Rhinehart and be good to go.
One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.

Nothing wrong with shooting into sand.  Yes, it dulls the blades but buy a replaceable blade broadhead and your good to go.
