He did not get a deer on his first hunt (passed a doe under the apple tree behind the landowner's house) but he was thrilled when he found his first shed.

The landowner showed us a mount of a buck his son shot many years ago in the area, exact same double brow tine. It was pretty cool.

My son was hunting with me a couple years ago and walking up an old road I stopped and waited......waited somemore figuring he has to see it. And then, DAD A ELK SHED!!! He was so happy!! About another 1/4 mile we (HE) spotted the other side! Still have em and he tells the story regularly. He has spotted many more since then!! He has even had to point some out to me! Ill see if I can find the pics of the moose sheds we (HE) found.
