Love the road hunting thread  That bull is just a pig but I like the kill shots best  :chuckle: I can not count how many times I have hunted my tail off beating bush - eating spiders and falling over logs and return to my truck and drive down a dirt road and there he stands ...Long as your off the road and not trespassing I say blaze away

Yeah got a him a few times with grass and blackberries. He had the rope for a long time too. Sounds like towards the end of the rut it was pretty much gone.

Those are a couple of nice mulies off west chewuch you saw mkcj..look pretty familiar..I never got a good pic of the other one but saw both of them myself on state land before they made it down to the valley, pretty impressive. It wasn't easy to line up the cell phone through the leupolds and get a good pic as far out as they were and when they wouldn't stop moving! Did manage some good pics and see some other dandy's too!

This guy was right off the road.  My wife rolled down the window and snapped a couple of pictures.  The bugle was very loud!!  Could almost smell his breath.

Understand this Bull got killed last week by  a special permit holder in California.
Should have stayed away from the road.  :(

Cool picture Brute, it kinda looks like his antlers had been on fire at one time.
