"NEW" Auction item, Swin Throught Beaver Trap
« on: February 02, 2015, 08:07:13 PM »
Well Hi Gals & Gals  :hello:

We have a NEW Auction  :IBCOOL:

Here is how I got this item for us.  Everybody knows Bruce and how good his Swim Through Beaver/Otter Traps are.  Well I had to kind of have a arm wrestling fight with him.  I tried to talk him into donating one of his swim trough traps but you know Bruce, he want to fight (I think it's a logger thing) all of the time  :bash:  Well him and I went at it and he said if I won he would donate a brand NEW Swim Trough Beaver/Otter Trap to the association.

Well he lost and I won  :IBCOOL: soooooooo....... Up For Auction Is a "BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN USED Bruce Vandervort Swim Through Trap."   He said he would take a picture and post it if I posted this auction.

We're going to start this auction tonight and end it lets say Sunday night midnight 12:00 February 8th, 2015.  This way Bruce can get it in the mail Monday morning and off to the winner by the end of the week so you can have it for the weekend to set it up and start catching a few beaver and otter before the season closes.  He said shipping will be extra if shipped out of state.

Good Luck and happy Bidding
JC   :hello:

I'm thinking we need to start the bidding at $100.00 ................ Do I hear a Bid?

So if I bid and win this auction can Bruce hang onto my trap until I move back out there in 18 months or so?

Machias, I'm pretty sure he would, if you want I'll take him on one more time in arm wrestling and I know he'll loose again.   :chuckle:

I'll go $125, if lessons are included. Can I pay you in beaver tails?

Do you have trouble at the grocery store paying with beaver tails? Does Chelan PUD accept beaver tails in payment for your light bill? If you have no problems in those cases we will accept beaver tails as long as there is a natural marking on the tails saying "In God We Trust"

I assume they're good. All I know is my lights havent flickered since I crammed that tail in their payment drop box last month.
Most important to me is if the trap comes with lessons. To make myself clear, I'm not lookin for trapping lessons. I'm wanting arm wrestleing lessons from JC. I figure after that class I can get all the traps from Bruce I want.
