Min bow weight?
« on: May 25, 2015, 08:13:30 PM »
Hi fellas, my wife just got her first bow. We are trad archers and are having a blast. It would be fun to take her small game hunting with me.

Is there a min bow weight for small game?

IIRC the only time I have heard min bow weight was in regards to Big Game. And just to double check, she would need to get her hunter's safety card to get a small game license just like big game correct?

Thanks for the help!

40lbs is the min for big game.  There is no limit for small game.  and yes, she would need hunters' ed to get a small game license unless she was born prior to 1972.
