Does anyone know about the elk herd up on Tinkham road by the fire training center. Went in pretty deep yesterday and took a long walk, all I saw was a medium size bear. No sighn or anything. Looks like good country though.

They feed on the shoulder of I90 at the Tinkham exit all Spring and Summer. I cross the pass twice a week. I have not seen them for about 6 weeks.
