Pack goats

I'm just curious does any one use pack goats on here. I started my mini alpine about a week ago and he's doing really good and I'm going to start my Nubian soon

Do a search on the site, there is a lot of info on packgoats, several guys here run them

I have the opportunity to get a 3 mo alpine wether for 50 is that a good deal?

It seems like a good price if it's a good goat. Has he been bonded to people? They do require work to train them though and there will be more investment in gear if you want to pack. Goats don't do well alone either. Usually you'll want a pair at least.
