That's not too far from me.  Local police are asking the public to stay away.  Otherwise, I'd be out looking.  Hope they find the little guy safe and sound.

Scary stuff.  It would be so easy to have it happen.

Not a favorable outcome, prayer to the family.

http://komonews.com/news/local/search-underway-for-2-year-old-boy-missing-in-monroe

MONROE, Wash. -- A missing 2-year-old boy was found dead Friday afternoon, several hours after he was reported missing from his Snohomish County home.

Grayson Hill's parents called 911 at 12:40 p.m. to report the boy missing, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. Officials believe he wandered away from his house.

Ground and air crews spent several hours searching the area near the 12700 block of Woods Creek Road. Just before 4 p.m., deputies announced they had found the boy's body in a wooded area.

No other information has been released.

Just heard they found him in the creek.  Poor little guy; my thoughts and prayers go out to this family as they go through this most sorrowful time.

K9's tracked him to the river, divers found him a quarter mile downstream.
RIP little guy.

Damn that's a mule kick to the gut. Don't even want to imagine what that family is going, I hope they can find peace and comfort.
Just tend your own and live.

gawd I used to live right there.  This is so sad, yet in Idaho every single spring when they opened the irrigation canals you would hear of missing toddlers and drownings in the canals.  It is so sad that people are not more aware of water hazards.

I wouldn't be quick to judge. My 2 boys are now a little past 3. They can disappear in literally 2 seconds. One of them had a habit of trying to walk off at around 2.  We have never had something like this happen but I can see it happening without any fault.

Srry but I had two girls single dad and always knew where they were at. I hear stories like this all the time. kids that age don't know any better. Years ago at cherokee bay in maple valley I had to run down the dock I pulled a 4 year old out of the lake while his family was just hanging out and when they walked down the dock after I pulled him out they looked at me like what the hell I was doing
