I’m down 40, did the keto diet. Found a good meal plan. I did hit a plateau but I bumped some carbs, did some turkey hunting and that helped my body gain some muscle and loose some lbs. My goal is another 25lbs but I would be happy at 215 if I ended up there.

Nice thought but no. Older couple and we no longer have or want any living thing depending on us to keep them alive and healthy. Winco lays just as many eggs as I need. :chuckle:

If you have one near you, Cash and Carry seems to always have eggs on sale.  Last sale was 15dz for $12.99.  I think the most I've ever paid for them there is 15dz for $18

Perfect time for this to pop up! Definitely needing to drop a couple (30+) pounds. Time to hit the woods as I can't stand "going for walks" or the gym. Adding protein and trying to cut most carbs out and see how it goes

3 hybrid Red hens and a 12$ bag of food.  You will have 3 eggs a day for 2 years.  Build a chick tractor for range healthy eggs.
MAGA!  Again..

That covers breakfast for one!

Everyone is different and we all have our own goals. what works for one person might not work for someone else.  I think the most important thing to do is find a way of eating that works for you, that is sustainable, and that you can do for the rest of your life!  The problem with a "diet" is that its usually short term, and after people reach their diet goals they tend fall back onto old habits. Sounds like a lot of people are on the right track. Good job Pman!!! thanks for starting this thread too, its one of the most positive ones I've seen in a while!!

My body is certainly taking less of a toll with the weight loss. The hip is alternately good and bad. I've all of a sudden come to the reality of being 60. The hip is great if I'm lazy and don't do anything, but I get winded in the field from a lack of stamina. IF I work too hard, the hip screams at me for a few days and the result is similar; the hip hurts after a few hours of walking in the woods. I need to find the sweet spot. And maybe, I need to adjust to becoming an old fart and review my expectations in the elk woods. Getting older sucks hairy spheres.

Remember,  we don't run after elk!  One step at a time is all it takes!!!
My mind still says I can do it, but the body sure does hurt!!!
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...
