Tribal Giant (King Kong)

I don't have any info other than it was killed this year and the hunter has been after him for two years.

Anyone have any other info on it?

I'm not laughing at you.  Just social media.   This bull has probably already been shot in 10 different states.   Cell phones are lighting up.   The guy who got the 380 bull probably won't even make page three.

No worries, I didn't take it that way.

Coworker sent me this picture earlier and said it was Cowlitz tribe, ten minutes after posting this on here he texts me and says "my bad, it's Colville not Cowlitz"

Colville tribe, archery hunter.  He's a stand up guy and hunted this bull hard and ethically.

Friend of a friend.

He "went without" through two seasons and finally connected.  You should see some of the sheds they have picked up if you think that hunting on The Rez is a gimme.  I will try to get permission to post those pictures.

A LOT of really big bulls made it through.

A paradigm shift has happened on that rez and it is "cool on that Rez to meet game fair chase, mano a mano, and let the chips fall where they may."

The group that gets the respect are what all of us would recognize as "sportsmen" and it is becoming that Tribal members do not look with admiration on shooting bulls or big bucks in a wintering area, like fish in a barrel.  If a Tribal member just needs meat or a ceremonial feast, shoot a cow or two, by all means, but if you want your trophy to be recognized as such - earn it.
