Back From Idaho Archery Elk hunt
« on: October 03, 2007, 09:44:10 AM »
After 16 days and on the final day of my hunt I finally notched my tag on a nice 5 point.  We killed 2 5points one spike and a cow, and overall successful trip.  Keep trying to upload pictures but it wont let me.  Ill get some up soon.

Thanks guys.   My season is pretty much over, I may try for another bear in a couple weeks, Ive got a real good spot just waiting for the hides and fat to build on them, I would really like to get a pig.  Also going to try for a bobcat this winter.  For now Im probably done until the baby comes in November, good luck to everyone.

Hey bear, were they killed on public land with OTC tags?

Ive been eyeballing the clearwater area but way more research to do before I get out the ATM card.

Can ya suggest a general area for a late season OTC public land hunt over there? I already burnt my WA elk tag and still itching for some bull hunting!

Figured Idaho is a better hunt than Oregon West side??? your thoughts?
