small bear
« on: October 05, 2007, 11:51:41 AM »
this is a small boar that we killed while on our archery elk hunt. My cousin made a less than perfect shot in the evening and we had to take the rifle in the next morning. the bear was quartering to him slightly and right at the release he decided to lift his head from feeding and look behind him , the arrow buried in his head just above between the eyes. The next morning we jumped him about 500yds down the canyon and two quick shots with the rifle and he was down.
