Hello.

I'm going to the Stevens Pass Challenge this summer. I'm excited but wondering a few things as the site doesn't have a FAQ. Am hopeful that some of you fellas who have attended an event can share some info.

1) the course shoot days are Sat and Sun correct? I'm trying to figure out if I need to take a day off from work or if I can arrive up there around 4/5ish Friday evening.

2) if one is shooting the course(s) for fun I think I read that there is a later start time & that the course(s) don't open till mid morning. Is this true?

3) what's the camping like? Plan to haul up an RV trailer for the weekend.

4) The Full Draw Film Tour is that on Sat night? I went to that last year up in Mt Vernon and it's great BTW. Am hopeful that they showcase all the films at the Mt challenge. Just curious.

TIA.

So how far are the longer shots at these? Hunting rig is only set up for 60yards. Or should I take the target bow.  :dunno:

Hi there,

I am one of the guys thats host the Steven Shoot. I can answer your questions for ya!

1.) Correct, shoot days are Sat/Sun. We have the glowstick shoot on Fri but its doesnt start until its dark

2.) Correct again. We flight the competition shooters first and once they all are on the course we open it up for the fun shooters. It really just depends on how many people are shooting for money that will set the time for the course to open. Of course, you can shoot 1 of other courses that isnt flighted before, then head over to the other course once its open.

3.) At Stevens there will be RV camping available through Stevens Pass. They are charging $20 per night but that INCLUDES hook ups. 50 Electrical hook up spots available. Otherwise I encourage camping at some of the many State land campsites nearby.

4.) For the FDFT we will be showing 3 films

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Brock

Couple more questions. These are just for fun not competion  Does one entry fee go for all the courses ?  And if you shoot for fun do you have to shoot at the specified stakes ?  80 is about my max.  also thought i saw rangefinders ok ?   Thanks  .   This looks to be a full day of fun.  With no rinehart this year think i'm in for stevens.

Anybody had any success paying registration fees online?  Tried to register for hoodoo and the site hung when I pushed pay.  Can't get any responses using their webpage contact or through Facebook pm.
