A couple years back a guy I know found a real nice blacktail skull and body where the head was stuck in the V of a tree, apparently dying when the animal was rubbing on the alder.

I finally got a few hours to hike around with my little brother yesterday, it felt so good just to get out in the sunshine!  We each found one shed, his is the 3 point and mine is the MONSTER spike  :chuckle: Can't wait to get back out there!

The smaller sheds take the most skill to find!

The lady beat me today with a nice set.  8) Really nice horns, too bad the squirrels got to them before we did.

Found this on the road going to check my bobcat trap.  I have driven past it a dozen times, and walked past it too I'm sure.  Nice thick 3 point blacktail

Fourth and best west side set of the year, have his 4pt set from Jan of '15 as well, he put on about 18" in those two years. Its cool to see the growth. This snow can stop at any time >:(

Wow, what a huge BT Lewy! Pretty cool to have history with the same buck like that. I have a big guy that I've been finding for multiple years now. It's fun to see the changes/similarities over the years.

Those are actually both fresh sets from this year, but are very similar and from the same area.
