22 Nosler?
« on: January 19, 2017, 02:13:43 PM »
I just saw this this morning. Apparently its supposed to push a 55Gr bullet at 3350FPS and only requires a barrel/Mag change from a standard AR15. anyone seen this?

Hey wait, don't they have to go in traditional order and come up with a 24 Nosler first, then a 30 Nosler and then the 22? :chuckle:

Then they can start in on the 25 8)
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

what about a 22-26 nosler or a 26-22 nosler. Oh man. Is there a 300-22nosler blackout?

I read an article about it on American Rifleman.org. Sounds like a cross between a .223 and a 22-250. Its got me interested!

Here is a real question. Is the 22 Nosler a brand new case, or does it have a parent case it is based off of?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I believe it's new. Kinda looks like a 6.8spc with a smaller rim to fit a 5.56 bolt.

this will be expensive for a while. Not having a parent case means you can't form your own brass. Thats the first thing that comes to mind as I ponder this

I was kinda hoping it was a necked down 7.62x39 case.
