Sheep taxidermist
« on: March 07, 2017, 03:06:22 PM »
Hi guys,
Curious which taxidermist in the state you'd have mount your ram?  Looking for some recommendations with pictures if possible. Who is the best?  I'm sure there are some good taxidermists around but who would get your business for that once in a lifetime ram???

Best question is why?     :chuckle:

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Buzzy Cook out of North Bend or Rick of Cedar River taxidermy.  They have both mounted sheep for me and they turned out great.  I'll say Rick out of Cedar River did some amazingly cool stuff to the back of my dall that is a pedestal mount.  He made it look amazing.

I thought I'd add a picture of the back of the pedestal.

Love Brian's ram and appreciate Rick's work.  If I get another ram it's going to cedar river

Beautiful ram Ridgerunner!  I like the pedestal mount. Pretty cool option if you're looking for something more than the traditional shoulder mount.

Agreed, that's a sweet mount!  Bring it to the banquet!
