Was south of the Roy Y on JBLM at about 8 am last week. Setup an e-caller and in less than 10 minutes a very light colored coyote started working its way in. But lost it in the high ground vegetation when the caller failed. Used the coyote pack call and female in estrus.
I too hunt on JBLM. Ive had a lot of luck recently using Ranting Red Bird. I called one in on TA5 Friday and yesterday. I called one in on TA8 two weeks ago. Theyre loving the red bird. What are you shooting the yotes with on base? I remember the access being a pain before 9/11.
